McMahan, J. —

On August 27, 1920, Fred D. and John Zabel executed their promissory note whereby they agreed to pay to Wilbur D. Smith $3,000 on March 1, 1921. This note was dated at Cooksville, Illinois, and was payable at the State Bank of Cooksville, Illinois. It contains a power of attorney authorizing any attorney- at law to appear in any court of record and confess judgment against the makers in favor of the payee or holder.
