This is an appeal by Certain-Teed Products, Inc., a Maryland corporation with the right to do business in Texas, and which had merged with the Institute for Essential Housing, a New Jersey corporation, from a judgment based upon a jury verdict for Allen L. Bell and wife, Gladys Bell. On April 6, 1961, the Bells entered into a written contract with Institute for Essential Housing for construction on Lots Nos. 19 and 20 in Block No. 55 in University Heights Addition to the City of Amarillo, an “I.E.H.” home, Model No. “Cherry Hill,” perimeter type foundation, ceiling height…
