McFarland, justice:

Richard F. Tafoya, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was found guilty of the crime of robbery. He was sentenced to serve a term of not less than eight nor more than ten years in the Arizona State Prison. From his conviction and sentence he appeals.

At about 6:00 p. m., on the 5th day of April 1967, defendant entered the Greyhound Bus Depot in Winslow, Arizona, with a short-barrelled rifle and robbed Mrs. Helen Doonan, owner and manager of the bus depot, of some $622 in cash and checks.
