MEMORANDUM OPINION

READY, Chief Judge.

This is an action brought pursuant to § 205(g) of the Social Security Act, as amended (42 U.S.C. § 405(g)), to obtain judicial review of a decision of the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, and is presently before the court on motions for summary judgment filed by both parties and on motion of defendant to strike certain appendices to plaintiff’s motion.
