MICHAEL, Circuit Judge:
Maersk Line, Limited appeals a personal injury judgment entered in favor of its employee, Martin Allred. After a one-day trial the jury found that Maersk was negligent under the Jones Act (46 U.S.C. app. § 688) and that Maersk’s vessel was unseaworthy. The jury awarded Allred $1 million in damages.
