¶ 1 Appellant, Eastern America Transport and Warehousing, Inc. (“Eastern”), asks us to reverse the judgment entered in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, awarding Appellee, J.W.S. Delavau Company, Inc. (“Delavau”), monetary compensation for negligence, breach of contract, conversion, and delay damages. In its cross-appeal from the favorable judgment, Delavau asks us to determine whether the award of delay damages in its favor should be recalculated to include the period between the untimely death of the first trial judge and the second trial in the case.
