BOYD BUNNELL, District Judge:

Norma Thompson appeals from a jury verdict denying her husband recovery for personal injuries. 1 The jury found by special verdict that the negligence of defendants did not proximately cause plaintiffs injuries. Plaintiff argues that the verdict was not supported by substantial evidence, and as a result the trial court erred when it denied his motion for a new trial or for judgment notwithstanding the verdict. We affirm.
