This action was brought originally in 1925 by writ and complaint praying an order for the sale of real property, located in Hartford, in which the plaintiff, Charles F. Pond, had a life estate under a codicil to the will of his grandmother, Harriet F. Pond. The court ordered the sale and directed that the proceeds thereof be paid to The Hartford-Connectieut Trust Company to be held by it in trust to pay the net income to the plaintiff during his life and upon his death to pay “the principal of said trust fund to the . . . persons . . . who may then be lawfully entitled thereto under the will…
