Plaintiff Donna C. Richards is an employee of defendant FleetBoston Financial Corp. (“Fleet”), a participant in the defendant FleetBoston Pension Plan (“Amended Plan”), and a former participant in Fleet’s former *168pension plan, a traditional defined benefits plan (“Traditional Plan”).
