In the near-decade since the collapse of the United States real-estate market, this District has been inundated with lawsuits brought by putative victims of that collapse against those they blame for it. As time has lapsed, and with it various statutes of limitation,. the targets of these lawsuits—as- well as the proffered bases of liability—have evolved.
