At the May term of the criminal court of Cook county, 1913, the plaintiff in error and Israel Tecotczky and Morris Cohen were jointly indicted in a count for larceny and also in a count for receiving stolen property knowing it to be stolen. The indictment charged that the property stolen or unlawfully received by the defendants was one lot of furs, consisting of muffs, collars, scarfs, coats and skins, the prop-' erty of Hyman Kinzelberg, each article being specifically described and valued in the indictment, the aggregate value therein amounting to $6122.
