The appellant was involved in a robbery and murder at his father’s machine shop when he was fifteen years old. During his trial for capital murder, several issues arose, including the voluntariness of his confession, two lesser-included offenses, the law of parties, and the law of conspiracy. At the close of the evidence during the guilt phase, the trial court limited closing arguments to twenty minutes per side.
