In these consolidated tax assessment appeals, the plaintiff property owner, Gardner Chapman, appeals from the judgment of the trial court rendered in favor of the defendant town of Ellington.1 The principal issues on appeal are whether the trial court *271improperly found (1) that the town assessor had not committed clerical errors in assessing the plaintiffs property pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1989) § 12-602 and that the plaintiff was, therefore, not entitled to a refund pursuant to General Statutes (Rev. to 1989) § 12-1293 for the years 1986, 1987, 1988 and 1989, and (2) that the…
