This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court rendered upon a jury verdict in favor of the beneficiary under a life insurance policy issued by defendant, 1 a fraternal beneficiary society incorporated under the laws of Ohio. The life insurance certificate issued to the insured, a resident of Michigan, within the state of Michigan, provided that the constitution, bylaws, articles of incorporation and insurance application, together with the certificate, should constitute the contract.
