The defendant was convicted of first degree sexual assault of his 7-year-old niece, following a bench trial, and was sentenced to imprisonment for 5 to 1Ó years. He has assigned as error that the trial court admitted the testimony of .an investigating officer which included details of the incident told to him by the victim.
