This matter comes before the Court by way of the defendants’ motion to review Magistrate Catoggio’s denial of their earlier motion to compel discovery. The precise issue before the Court concerns the propriety of compelling Mr. John C. McEachron (hereinafter “deponent”), one of the inventors and the patent applicant of the product underlying the instant patent infringement action, to answer certain questions posed to him at a deposition.
