This is an appeal and a cross appeal from a decree declaring as a nullity a certain amount of a judgment obtained in a suit at law. Equity jurisdiction is not questioned.

On September 9,1948, Benjamin Kolker, Fabian Kolker and Marvin Kolker, trading as Maryland Lumber Company, hereinafter referred to as the appellants, filed a bill of complaint against Samuel G.
