In this case, we must determine whether Madonna Andrew, appellee, produced sufficient evidence at trial to establish that Cairoll Sass, appellant, committed fraud in connection with an underlying contractual obligation. Andrew filed suit in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County against Sass and his company, “Atlantis Painting & Decorating, Inc.” (“Atlantis”), as well as Stan Mell and his company, Innerstate Design Builders, Inc.
