WELBORN, Commissioner.

This is an action for damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff while employed by defendant as a housekeeper when she fell through the ceiling of defendant’s garage to the floor below. Damages were sought in the amount of $75,000.00. The jury returned a $20,000 verdict in favor of plaintiff. Defendant’s after-trial motions for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and, in the alternative, for a new trial were overruled.
