A judge of the Superior Court ruled, as matter of law, that the Braintree Housing Authority (authority) 2 was liable in damages for breach of contract to Paul Sardella Construction Co., Inc. (Sardella), for wrongfully rescinding the award to Sardella of a contract for the construction of a State-aided housing project for the elderly. 3 The matter was reported to the Appeals Court pursuant to Mass.
