OPINION

CORNISH, Judge:

James Alvin Moore, III, was convicted by a jury in Tulsa County of Rape in the First Degree AFCF and of Burglary in the First Degree AFCF and sentenced to 499 years’ and 199 years’ imprisonment, respectively.

Moore was arrested upon the conclusion of an investigation by a task force of twenty-five Tulsa police officers in connection with a number of burglaries and rapes. These crimes occurred over a six month period and were extensively reported by the news media.
