Jesse Delrosa appeals the district court’s judgment affirming the decision of the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) denying his claim for supplemental security income (SSI) under 42 U.S.C. § 1382c (1988). On appeal, Delrosa contends that the Secretary’s decision was not supported by substantial evidence. He also has filed a motion requesting that this court consider additional medical evidence not considered by the Secretary or the administrative law judge (ALJ) in rendering the decision.
