Wilfredo Tovar Hernandez appeals from a superior court judgment granting Raymond and Delia Mendoza’s (respondents) motion for judgment pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 631.8. The judgment follows a trial de novo in superior court under Labor Code section 98.2, which was requested by respondents to challenge an award of overtime wages to appellant by the Labor Commissioner.

We reverse.
