From 1929 to early 1937 plaintiff, a resident of Wauwatosa, was circulation manager at Racine for a farm paper. From March, 1937, until February, 1938, he worked for a casualty insurance company, developing a farm department in that company and appointing agents throughout the state for the sale of health and accident insurance. At the suggestion of an acquaintance, a district supervisor for the Farmers Mutual Automobile Insurance Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Insurance Company”), he acquired a local agent’s license and in September, 1937, the Insurance Company issued to him a…
