On October 10, 1972, the Borough of Morrisville entered into a contract, effective January 1, 1973, for a term of three years thereafter, with the Morrisville borough police association, bargaining agent of the police of Morris ville borough, in the nature of a collective bargaining agreement for the benefit of the police, governing compensation, hours of work and overtime, clothing and equipment, holidays, vacations, sick leave and hospitalization, and other matters.
