-In 1925 plaintiff was the owner of the south 82% feet of the north 100 feet of Lot 12, in Greenwood Park, now a part of the city of Des Moines. It is located at the southeast corner of the intersection of Ingersoll Avenue and Fortieth Street. At that time there was a frame two-story residence on the east '38% feet of the property. In 1925 plaintiff built a brick apartment on the west 132 feet of the property.
