Defendant seeks his release from the Department of Mental Health, Center for Forensic Psychiatry, where he is confined pursuant to the criminal sexual psychopath act (cspa), 1939 PA 165, as amended by 1952 PA 58, MCL 780.501 et seq.] MSA 28.967(1) et seq. (repealed by 1966 PA 267 and 1968 PA 143 ), as applied to him pursuant to Administrative Order No. 1969-4, 382 Mich xxix, which continued in effect the release provisions of the CSPA for those confined under that statute.
