MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

Plaintiff Emily Ortiz brings this action pursuant to Section 205(g) of the Social Security Act, 42 U.S.C. § 405(g), challenging the final decision of the Commissioner *253of Social Security (the “Commissioner”) to deny her application for Supplemental Security Income (“SSI”) benefits. The Commissioner has moved for judgment on the pleadings pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(c), and plaintiff has submitted a brief in opposition to this motion. For the reasons set forth below, the Commissioner’s motion is granted.
