Plaintiff Nelson Norman brings this action pursuant to Section 205(g) of the Social Security Act (“SSA”), as amended, 42 U.S.C. §§ 405(g), 1383(c)(3), to seek review of a final decision of the Commissioner of Social Security (“defendant”) denying his application for Social Security Income (“SSI”) benefits. Both plaintiff and the defendant have moved for judgment on the pleadings pursuant to Rule 12(c) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. (ECF ## 12 and 14.)
