The named defendant,1 the city of Waterbury (city), appeals from the Appellate Court’s decision reversing the trial court’s judgment granting the city’s motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict. Salaman v. Waterbury, 44 Conn. App. 211, 687 A.2d 1318 (1997).
