HEMPHILL, District Judge.

Action instituted by plaintiffs, admitted nonresidents of South Carolina, against defendants, automobile owner, admitted to be residing in the State of South Carolina, and foreign defendant corporation, for injuries and damages arising out of an automobile collision. Plaintiffs were nonpaying guest passengers in the automobile which left the highway while proceeding from Etain to Verdun (Department of Meuse), France, being operated at the time at an excessive speed.
