Law enforcement officers stopped Francisco Estrada-Vital’s vehicle for displaying an improper license plate. Officers removed Estrada-Vital and his passenger from the car, searched the vehicle, and seized a wallet from inside the vehicle. The wallet disclosed Estrada-Vital’s identity, which led to the discovery that his driver’s license was revoked, which in turn led to a search incident to arrest that produced cocaine from Estrada-Vital’s pants pocket.
