This is a suit brought by the plaintiff, The Willamette Steam Mills Lumbering & Manufacturing Company, against D. C. McDonald, J. F. Shea, and Dayton, Hall & Avery, as defendants, to foreclose a mechanics’ lien upon lot number eight, and the north half of lot number five, in Couch’s Addition to the City of Portland, the same being contiguous lots, constituting one entire tract.
