The petitioners seek the annulment of. an award by the Industrial Accident Commission in favor of respondent Steinkamp. Steinkamp was in the employ of the petitioner, Starr Piano Company, which rented space on the fourth floor • of the Manufacturers’ Exhibition Building in San Francisco. He was hurt by falling into the elevator shaft of the building in an attempt to use the elevator on his way to the fourth floor, there to perform services for his employer.
