Simmons, Justice.
It appears from the record that Leonard gave to Hatcher feWilkerson two obligations in writing, whereby he promised to pay them a certain amount of money. Neither contained any words of negotiability. They indorsed one of them in blank, and negotiated both of them to the First National Bank of Columbus. It seems that one of them was written upon a large piece of paper and the other upon a smaller piece, and when they were negotiated to the bank the smaller one was inclosed in the other, and the indorsement was made upon the latter.
