HYDE, Judge.

Defendant appeals from the judgment and sentence adjudging him guilty of murder in the first degree and fixing his punishment at imprisonment for life in the penitentiary in accordance with the verdict of the jury.

Defendant contends that he was entitled to a directed verdict so we will state the facts shown by the State’s evidence. Defendant was charged with the murder of Louis Otto, 18 years old, who left his home-in Crystal City, Jefferson County, Missouri, in his Dodge automobile about 3:00 P.M. July 19, 1954, to go to work in House-Springs, where he was a Dairy Queen man ager.…
