On the night of September 6th, 1930, at about ten minutes after nine, the body of the plaintiff’s intestate was found lying in Crescent Avenue in Bridgeport near the intersection of Helen Court. It is admitted that he was struck and killed by the defendant’s automobile, but there was no eyewitness of the accident other than the defendant and he did not testify upon the trial.
