The underlying issue in this case is whether the claimant voluntarily left his work without good cause. We take the facts from the Employment Appeals Board’s findings:
"(1) The claimant worked for this employer from March of 1973 until October 8, 1979. (2) He was employed as their parts manager and was paid at the rate of $1,000 per month. (3) On October 5, 1979 [a Friday], the claimant advised the employer that he was quitting and that his last day at work would be on October 12,1979.
