A jury in the Jasper County Circuit Court found Jack Edward Newman guilty of mur*783der in the first degree in the death of Burnal Ray Brown in the perpetration of a robbery. § 565.003, RSMo 1978. This appeal is from the ensuing judgment and sentence to life imprisonment.
