This action, instituted in the Court of Common Pleas for Sumter County, is a suit by Julius Sutton, as plaintiff, against the defendant, Continental Casualty Company, for recovery of damages for the alleged wrongful and fraudulent cancellation of a policy of insurance issued and de livered by defendant to- the plaintiff. By way of answer to the allegations of the complaint, the defendant interposed a general denial, and, as a further defense, alleged that the plaintiff had accepted and receipted for a check “issued in full…
