This private antitrust action was instituted by plaintiff Southern Concrete Company (hereinafter “Southern”), a now-defunct subsidiary of Southern Products Company. From the late 1950’s until October, 1969, plaintiff was engaged in the production and sale of ready-mixed concrete in the Atlanta area.
