OPINION OF THE COURT

FLAHERTY, Justice.

This is an appeal from an order of the Superior Court, 354 Pa.Super. 176, 511 A.2d 818, which affirmed a grant of injunctive relief by the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia requiring that the City of Philadelphia make certain *403payments for health insurance benefits to the Municipal Workers Health and Welfare Fund maintained by District Council 33 of the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. The duty to make the payments arose under provisions of the 1982-1984 Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City and District Council…
