A petition was presented by Lillian S. Kaufmann to the Orphans’ Court of Allegheny County praying that securities to the amount of one million dollars, which had been inventoried as part of her father’s estate, be returned to her, claiming their ownership by reason of a gift alleged to have been made some years before his death. The case was ably presented by counsel, and carefully considered by the learned court below.
