BUTTERFIELD, Justice.
Defendant Keith Butler was indicted on 7 July 1998 for trafficking in cocaine by transportation of twenty-eight grams or more but less than two hundred grams of cocaine and trafficking in cocaine by possession of twenty-eight grams or more but less than two hundred grams of cocaine. The trial court consolidated the charges for trial, and the jury found defendant guilty of both offenses.
