Plaintiff, Delthea Mason, a Minnesota resident, brought this action for compensatory and punitive damages against defendant Spiegel, Inc. (Spiegel), an Illinois corporation, alleging strict liability, breach of warranties and negligence in the sale of an unreasonably flammable cotton gingham tennis dress.
