MEMORANDUM OPINION ON PLAN EXCLUSIVITY EXTENSION

This chapter 11 case was commenced by a voluntary petition filed by the debtor on January 28, 1988. Accordingly, the debt- or’s statutory 120-day exclusive, period within which to file a plan of reorganization under 1121(b) of the Bankruptcy Code was scheduled to expire on May 27, 1988. On April 28, 1988 the debtor filed a motion for an eight-month extension of its exclusive period to file a plan, i.e., an extension to January 27, 1989.
