LOWELL, District Judge.

This was a libel brought against the steamer Mercedes de Larrinaga for injuries sustained by a longshoreman who was in the employ of the Boston Stevedore Company at work on the vessel.

■ Larrinaga & Co., Limited, claimant of the vessel, filed an exception to the libel, setting forth that Miller was employed by the Boston Stevedore Company, which had provided by insurance under the Workmen’s Compensation Act of Massachusetts (G.
