WIDENER, Circuit Judge:

Albert J. Clozza attacks a Virginia state court judgment sentencing him to death. The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia denied his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. We affirm.

Clozza’s death sentence was based upon the aggravating circumstance of vileness as well as on the aggravating circumstance of future dangerousness. One of the issues he raises concerns the proportionality review of the Virginia Supreme Court, so the circumstances surrounding the crime are quite pertinent.
