MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

I. BACKGROUND

The motion before the Court raises the following issue: what remedies are available to a secured creditor when a debtor fails to perform his or her duties under 11 U.S.C. § 521(2)(B)? 1 The facts in this case are relatively straightforward and not in dispute. David and Catherine Donnell (the “Debtors”) filed a Chapter 7 petition on January 19, 1999. At the time of filing, the Debtors owed approximately $5,000 to BankBoston, N.A.
