MEMORANDUM OPINION

WILLIAMS, District Judge.

Plaintiff, Hugo Solis, brings this 42 U.S.C. § 1983 action against Prince George’s County, Officer Peter Ruffin, and several John Doe police officers. Plaintiff complains that he was unjustifiably assaulted and battered by the police officers as well as wrongfully arrested and detained. In addition to the § 1983 claims, Plaintiff asserts various constitutional and common law tort claims against the officers and their employer, Prince George’s County, under a theory of respondeat superior.
